Often patients ask which method is better and when should the surgery be done? 🟢 Why is Laparoscopy (Lap Cholecystectomy) better?• Small incisions: Surgery through small incisions instead of making a large incision in the abdomen. • Less pain: There is very little pain after the operation. • Faster recovery: The patient can go home the next day and start daily activities. ⚠️ Important information: Conversion from laparoscopy to open surgery Often during laparoscopy, the surgeon has to switch to 'open surgery' (larger incision).
